The business purpose of the new joint venture is to promote Ceva’s image and business strategy to potential Japanese partners. It will better enable Ceva to significantly grow its presence in Japan in an accelerated manner. Building on the vast network of trust established by Mitsui in Japan, Ceva Bussan Animal Health K.K. will address the growing concerns related to food safety in Japan, while promoting a preventative approach to further controlling disease in livestock production.

We are very proud to see the partnership initiated in 2020 with Mitsui strengthening today. This joint venture will allow us to accelerate our development in Japan, a key territory for Ceva. In addition, our entire group is excited to put our expertise to work in addressing the food safety and animal disease control challenges Japan is facing. I would like to congratulate all members of our teams involved in this project for their commitment, which have made it possible for this project to be carried out.”

“This development marks a meaningful milestone in our joint effort to expand Ceva’s presence in Japan. I have no doubt that Mitsui’s extensive inter-industrial network, long business history, and reputation in Japan will be a key contributing factor in achieving our goals together. We are excited to continue furthering our collaboration in our home market with this important step. I congratulate all of the Ceva and Mitsui members involved in bringing this collaboration to fruition.”
