Ceva Animal Health has a vacancy in the poultry division for a Key Accounts Manager. This position will be based in Gauteng and will mainly be responsible for the development and maintenance of business, within key accounts in the poultry industry of South Africa and certain neighbouring countries. Ensuring the maximization of the penetration of Ceva's solutions through the development and implementation of the Account Business plans, in order to maintain sustainable relationships with key customers.
Education: B.Sc. Agric or B.V.Sc degree
Work Experience: 3+ years Key Account Management experience. Poultry experience will be an advantage.
Travel: Field based requiring 50 % travel, must be prepared to travel within SA and abroad.
Language skills: Excellent English communication skills.
Computer Skills: Must be Computer Literate in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint ? intermediate to advanced skills required.
Responsibilities and accountabilities:
Customer needs, relationship management and market penetration:
Develop & preserve effective relationships with Key Account's management, administrative and decision-making stakeholders within the account.
Gather all required information to develop a robust Key account plan.
Co-develop an annual key brand sales forecast with the client for production and budget needs.
Differentiate the offer in order to create mutual growth based on the customer's needs.
Ensure communication to all key customer stakeholders involved in the decision process.
Ambition & Plan:
Develop the key Account Plan with a 2 to 3-year ambition, review it with the BUM and Country Manager and ensure that it's uploaded in the database.
Execute Ceva's solutions with the proper resources, listen to customer feedback and drive customer satisfaction.
Provide management with accurate timely sales forecasts to optimize proper resource planning.
When appropriate, negotiate yearly contracts.
Analyse the expenses which will be required to execute the Account plan, deploy the resources and track the related expenses.
Developing and preserving leadership:
Pro-actively schedule and facilitate Pulse meetings.
Develop strong collaborating relationships across the different local services to build a strong account team.
Sharing the insight:
Routinely discuss and communicate account plans with other local members in order to align the account team.
Communicate progress to local and zone management.
On demand, make impactful presentation to align Ceva's organization on the strategy Account and its execution.
Managing sales results and outcomes:
Achieve sales and profitability goals for selected Key Accounts.
Track sales results and other business key performance indicators for the key accounts.
Review progress with the local account team every month.
