Sheep and goats represent the dominant form of livestock rearing in some regions of the world, and have been a part of human life since the dawn of time.
CEVA SANTE ANIMALE fully understands this and since its beginnings, has developed specialities in the fields of control of reproduction, anti-infectives, vaccines and parasiticides.
Some of the firms that have gone to form the CEVA Group, such as COGLA or ABBOTT, already had specialities for sheep and goats.
Today, the Group’s international range features the following specialities:

- Bacterial vaccines: COGLAVAX® (enterotoxaemia and clostridiosis); CHLAMYDOPHILA® (chlamydiosis); COXEVAC® (coxiellosis or Q fever); COGLAREV® (brucellosis – REV 1 vaccine)
- Anti-infectives: all the molecules available on the market feature in the CEVA range, plus some original products, such as ERYTHROCYN® 200 (erythromycin) to treat foot rot.
- Parasiticides: CEVAMEC® (ivermectin), DALBEN® (albendazole bolus and oral suspension) etc.
The CEVA Group publishes a particularly thoroughly illustrated Atlas of Ovine Pathologies.
This Atlas dedicated exclusively to sheep addresses all the relevant pathologies at each stage in the animals’ life cycle: lambs, newborns, replacement animals and adults. Thanks to thousands of images, you will easily be able to identify the different clinical signs and macroscopic lesions.
